In-depth understanding of International Relations.
This CBU Master’s Degree Programme
- offers academic training in international relations and expertise on questions related to the European North – Russia, Nordic and Baltic Regions – with an emphasis on EU-Russian relations
- promotes intercultural understanding and awareness relating to political dynamics, history and identities of the region
- examines interfaces and possibilities of dialogue on conflicting policy issues and practices
- is recommended for students planning to pursue a career in international relations or regional policy, governmental and non-governmental organisation, or in business, education or journalism
Courses include, for example, the following:
- The European North: Historical Geopolitics and International Institutional Dynamics
- Russia and European Security
- Russia and the European Union
- Russia-EU: Understanding Conflict and the Limits of Integration
- The Politics of the Putin Presidency
- From Finnish-Russian Relations to EU-Russian Relations
Degrees awarded:
A double degree from two universities or a degree of the home university, a diploma supplement and a CBU certificate
