The grant is targeted to CBU graduates who are planning to make a PhD within a CBU Doctoral programme in the University of Eastern Finland in cooperation with CBU partner universities. Currently there are 1 position available at East Finland Graduate School in Computer Science and Engineering and 1 position at Graduate School in Forest Sciences.
Citizens of all countries can apply. Faculty of Science and Forestry at the University of Eastern Finland will pay 2 scholarships for 36 months period for completing a PhD at the University of Eastern Finland on a CBU relevant topic proposed by the applicant. The amount of the grant is 1500 euro per month. More detailed instructions about the payment and other practical details will be published upon the decision of grants.
The application deadline is 10.12.2010. The grant will be starting from 01.01.2011. The free form application including CV, PhD Research plan, PhD Study plan, statements from supervisors in CBU partner universities, copy of the passport and residence permit should be submitted by email or regular mail to:
